No. Please don't. Seeing the home in its natural state is useful information. For the first session (clothing), laundry should be done, but folding is not necessary.

Do I need to buy additional storage items?

Hold off until the end. During the decluttering phase, all storage is temporary. After all categories are complete, Ai can suggest or help source storage items that fit what remains.
